Piper makes me so MAD!

July 25, 2010 By The Food Lady 30 Comments

Oh wait … maybe I make Piper so MAD!
eb-1-7

Nooo …. that’s not right either.

Perhaps it’s more accurate to say that Piper and I made Piper MAD together.
eb-1-36

MAD as in Masters Agility Dog of Canada MAD!  This weekend she got two back-to-back Masters Standard Qs to complete her title!  She did it like a pro too, no hesitation, no problems, great weaves.  We wuz all very impressed.  She also got her very first Advanced Gamble Q, which is like a miracle for Miss P.  She went 3 for 3.

Tweed, otoh, went 1 for 4.  Let’s just say he had some senior moments, which included a face plant into the SIDE of a tunnel.  How do you not see a 20 foot long bright yellow object as tall as yourself?  He did however redeem himself very nicely by getting the last Steeplechase Q he needed for his Masters Steeplechase Dog of Canada!
eb-1-37

It was a nice way to spend a Saturday.

The WooTWoo, who spent the entire day in crates, completely disagree.  But Dexter had a lovely visit with his sister Ginny at the trial.
eb-1-40

It’s nice to see them getting on so well!
eb-1-45

Too bad Ginny and Maggie didn’t get along at all.
eb-1-48

Just kidding!  Maggie and Ginny hit it off right away.
eb-1-50

In fact, Ginny is a little bit in love with Maggie.  I tried to convince Auntie Cathie to adopt Maggie too, but she wasn’t listening because she was busy trying to convince me to keep Maggie.  We canceled each other out.

Maybe this photograph will change her mind.
eb-1-51

Maggie just gets on well with everybody. Nyxie thinks she was the bees knees!
eb-1-33

Which is the opposite of how TWooie feels about Nyxie:
eb-1

Bad dog, TWooie!!!  He was probably just pissed off in general at the time, because we waded way out into the surf and made him swim.

I’m SCARED!!!
eb-1-11

Piper said if a blind dog could go way out in the water, so could TWoo.
eb-1-9

So get over yourself!!
eb-1-20

MAD Piper is mad.

Why don’t you ALL get over yourselves?

Wahoo! Well deserved congratulations all around – Piper, Tweed, and FL.

In his picture, Tweed looks like he is saying “Did you have to tell them about the tunnel?”

And I see Cindy was already making her move on Dexter’s tuggie.

    Great pictures – as always.

Excuse me, that’s Ginny, not Cindy.

And poor Twooie – he can look so pathetic. He just needs a tad more of Woo’s personality and attitude.

Soggy Twooie has to be about the cutest thing you’ve ever posted pictures of. Good thing HE isn’t looking for a home.

Congratulations to Piper, Tweed and to you too. :) You’re being very lucky with them in the competitions.

Twoo seriusly looks sad and scared, but it’s definitely doing great improvements, Woo is a good “mentor” for him. lol I don’t know how you are going to cope with them. And at this stage I think you are going to end up having another dog. You’re going to become the Dog Brady bunch at this rate, lol but the good news is that Maggie is lovely.

    Congratulations!!! :)

More info on the blind, fluffy Malamute dog? Could so be related to my beloved Freya! Only she was Mal/Collie/Wolf. Looked very hard when we lived in Alaska (where she was from) for another like her, a sibling, whatever. Never did find a single one like her. Guess goD broke the mold with her.

Maybe when the tears don’t fall so freely, we’ll adopt another beautiful, fluffy Mal mix.

I think I could do worse than to adopt Piper as my role model. Might need to get my teeth whitened, but well worth it…

Congrats Sheena, Piper and Tweed! Very nice work indeed!!

Congratulations FL on your great agility accomplishments with not one, but two of your famous sidekicks. AWESOME. I’m a little biased, but I loved the pics of the pups. Maggie’s yours. Don’t fight it! Dex loves her, Ginny loves her, and YOU love her. She’s adorable. You are a fantastic photographer. Thank you for making me smile blog after blog.
