Happy Holidays!

December 12, 2010 By The Food Lady 19 Comments

Sorry to be MIA, but it’s the holiday season and I’ve been a very busy little bee.  There’s gifts to buy and – most importantly – Santa photos to take!  Thanks to all your generosity, we raised a very generous amount for rescue today, so thank you to all of you who came out for Santa photos.

Sadly, thanks to a faulty tripod, I broke my flash.  BOOHOO!  I fixed it with a piece of cardboard for the duration of the photos, but it’s toast now.

Here’s a photo of my crew wishing you all happy holidays.  Don’t worry clients – your photos are better quality.  This was pre-cardboard ;-)

PS – Henry got adopted today!  Merry Christmas!

What a lovely photo of the “kids”! I think Dexter is pretty sure *he’s* been good this year and is getting a good gift from Santa this year ;)

That is the most elegant backdrop I’ve ever seen for a Santa shoot.

Thought Dexter had sprouted those wings that you mentioned recently….. then realised it was the fur from Santa’s boots!

I was impressed with the background too – no idea living in the boonies had such awesome furnishings! glad to hear it was photo shopped, so I don’t feel guilty about my meager PetSmart photo!

Fantastic photoshopping, Food Lady, and Dexter’s goofy grin is priceless.

TWoo really looks amazingly relaxed and happy considering there’s a weirdly dressed person so nearby. What a lovely record of his progress. And yay for Henry! I’m pretty sure he’ll turn out to be the coolest of the Candy Litter.

TWooie liked Santa just fine … he likes people great, they may have cookies for him. I never worry about him and people. What impressed ME about how relaxed he looks is that Nyx, Tuk and Zara were in an xpen like 5 feet away and he was posing rather than trying to kill them. That was pretty impressive!

So nice to meet you at the photo shoot! Too bad we missed seeing your pack. I think in all the excitement of April meeting Santa for the first time,we failed to mention what background we wanted. So if you happen to come across a form for April that fails to mention that, we’d like the same one you have here. Thanks!

Ha…I love the look on Wootie’s face. There’s always on family member who refuses to smile in a group photo!
