Bobo and Meja, I think you misread the Food Lady’s post. She – rightly – doesn’t like posters who take liberties in criticizing her and telling her how to live her life and she deletes their posts. I’m kind of sorry she does because if she left them, she might see how many other readers disagreed with the malcontents. It sounds like she has taken a lot of flak and has just gotten tired of it and that is understandable. Reread her post as her friend and I think you will find it is not true that she doesn’t like her readers – just the not so nice ones.

Well, Foodlady, try as you might, we still LURV you here at Floofiness Manor. We (myself, de pup, and de kitteh-de man does not read de blog) love the Woo, the Twoo, the Spring, the crazy amazing pictures, your boonies (not the dead ones, but reference to your locale), the knowledge you share, your love of rescue, all the animals of the casa de Foodlady (current, previous, future, and temps). So, although I don’t know you personally, and live no where near you, I just wanted you to know, that WE at least think you’re awesome. So, may the cranky-pants people change their shorts, or just go away, so the rest of us can enjoy your blog. :)

Hello, Food Lady,
If I could comment on your other post, here’s what I’d say:
You’re the best! I can’t imagine having six dogs here in my urban house, but if I lived where you did, I might. And I’m glad you do! It seems like you’re a responsible trainer and rescuer. I know how hard it was (and still is) to work with my one ornery border collie, so I can only imagine how much work and love and time you put into your own dogs and the ones you help out temporarily.
For every crap commenter, there are probably 10 or 15 shy people like me that don’t comment often, because we don’t have an agenda or a point to make, but just want to see what you and your dogs (and chickens) are up to. We’re waving our pompoms for you after every post, but we’re doing it quietly and politely!

Hi
just one of the readers who stumbled upon this site quite a while ago. love the photos. enjoy the travails of managing your dogs, permanent and fosters. I have a high prey drive Brittany who likes to hunt and eat what she catches and I too am somewhat amused while kinda grossed out by it. Having grown up on a farm, totally get the chicken thing.
Anyway, don’t let random posters get to you. Your blog your thoughts, your rules. I figure there are plenty who enjoy what you write about and your amazing pictures.

I am one of the shy ones like Kelly — have never commented before but in light of your “I don’t really want to be here” post, I had to say how utterly charming I find your blog. As wonderful as your photos are, it’s the combination of them with your wit, your point of view, and your life as a whole that makes Wootube.net so special. Thank you for your work with animals and for the effort you put into this unique online creation. I can’t believe anybody would be mean to you — you should be appreciated no end!

I hope you start to like being here again soon. We (me and Mad Monty Mayhem the cattle dog) like you being here even though we don’t know you. Your photos of the dogs inspire me to take more with my little camera when I take The Monty out (because face it, he’s way more photogenic than I am). Your stories about challenges you work through with your dogs gives me hope for the ones I face with mine (ever watch Pinky and the Brain? A hint – Monty does not think he’s Pinky).
The choices you share are your choices – this is a blog, after all, not a discussion forum – but there will always be people who think they know better and feel it’s their job to tell you you’re doing things wrong, usually in the most unpleasant way possible. The unfortunate part is that you have to read what they say before exercising your power of deletion. Good luck with your blog block – and happy Thanksgiving, dammit. Go enjoy the sun with your puppies or something, because sometimes people just suck and you need to get away from them for a while.

I just want to echo what Kelly said. I’ve never posted as I’ve never had much to say, but I think that this time I had to let you know. You and your dogs brighten my day. I find it amazing that you handle so many so well with all of their individual issues. I know it’s hard and I am so grateful that you allow us this small peek into your life.
My corgi is like your Piper, she is boss and everybody better know it. My 3 boys are all rescues and have numerous and varied medical needs. We have a car that is on it’s last legs, and has been for a while, and money is tight. I know how hard it is to juggle all the time and money needs so that everything gets taken care of, and how some things just have a higher priority. The good news is that you get to decide what has priority, the bad news is that you have to make the decision at all.
Don’t let other people get you down. You are loved and appreciated and admired. Thank you for sharing your dogs with us.
Ok, this comment is actually about this here Twoosday post. I have a question that has been driving me crazy for a while. Do you pronounce Twoo as “2” or as “twue” like the priest does in Princess Bride when he says “Twue wuv”? Thanks in advance for your reply! :)

People try to micromanage other people’s lives when their own lives are either out of control or mind-numbingly boring. Same as you’d show a guest the door if s/he spat on your living room floor, if someone doesn’t get that it’s a privilege to share in your life here, through your blog, then you get to hit the delete button and show him/her the virtual door. Don’t let it hit ’em in the caboose! (Well, try not to….*wink*)

Dear wonderful Food Lady
I second all the above comments! For some reason people seem to really enjoy saying ugly things when they know they are safely hidden. I don’t get it. Most days I don’t like people much. I am glad you delete the hateful people…their comments any way!
I, too, have a bunch of dogs. All rescue. They are healthy, vaccinated, loved, well-fed, entertained, free to be inside or outside with a doggy-door and fenced yard (over an acre) and they all sleep in my bedroom at night. I can’t imagine sleeping without a few warm bodies snuggled up to me! A few just don’t get along and I really wish they would but they have individual personalities just like people. People have sooo much they can learn from dogs. Dogs have very little to learn from people.
Please don’t stop blogging! I check your site every day for new pics and commentary. I just love how you think!!
p.s. I have also wondered how to pronounce Twoo’s name!

Dear Foodlady – I comment infrequently but am also someone who checks every day (OK maybe Multiple times a day!) to see if there is a wonderful new post from you. I don’t know you, and I know I don’t know you, but I have very much enjoyed your blog for a number of years now. I hope you feel better about blogging again because I would miss the bits of your life that you do share, and after the loss of my two beloved border collies (without the ability at this time in my life to have dogs) I have been living the dog owner life vicariously through your blog and would very much miss Tweed, Piper, M(yste)r(y). Woo, Dexter, and Twoo too.
To Diamondgirl and Patti: Just as an FYI, there is an FAQ tab at the top of the page and on there Foodlady has posted how to pronounce Twooie’s name (as well as other fun info) and she says it is: “Like the number “2″ with an e on the end … 2E, if that’s easier to remember! It’s spelled TWooie because he is just like Wootie, but slightly rearranged (or slightly deranged maybe!). Things his name is not: TOOTIE, T-Wootie, Twootie …”
