AKA “The Running Dork”
If nothing else, he makes for some great photos.
It’s ironic that he has developed these bushy white eyebrows like Albert Einstein, but is definitely not Einsteinesque.
Almost six years in, and he still thinks he can hide behind a blade of grass, bless his weird little heart.
Thanks to a set of fortuitous circumstances, I managed to score myself a new-to-me Canon 7D, and I am LOVING it. My photos are so much richer and bolder and detailed. Between this new toy, and THE SUN making a daily appearance (and hanging around until well into the evening!), life is good :) We are all so happy! A big fat Woo – if you will – hoo!
I got Dexter and Spring’s entries into Regionals, so we’re looking forward to having a good time with friends and running our pants off (actually I hope my pants stay on, because I have yet to shed a little winter weight, and nobody needs to see me without pants!)
I am even hopeful Spring will do reasonably well (or at least have a good time), since she is so much more enthused in our post-Ender universe.
(she doesn’t look it, but she is, I swear!)
She uses her newly rekindled enthusiasm to beat up her brother on a regular basis.
Okay, I totally admit I have nothing important to say this week, I just really wanted an excuse to post some photos I took with the new camera.
And maybe shill Rhumba a little, because she is still with me and NO adoption interest at all. Almost 200 days in the shelter system. I mean come on, who wouldn’t want this adorable little creature??
My landlord pointed at Fae today and said “I like this one.” I do too :)
We hope you’re enjoying these lovely days as much as we are!

Isn’t the sun awesome, we had alot of it here last week too. Course, this week its going to rain, and maybe even SNOW all week :(

I am amazed at how Tweed is holding his rich russet redness FOREVER. At 14, Samosa is getting frosted evenly all over with white and it is making his deep orange fade to orange creamsicle. Way to cheat aging, Tweed!

Food Lady, that new camera is really working for you. Looking forward to more great stuff like this, and seeing what you else you can do with it. Everybody look so happy in the sunshine!

The pictures are great! everyone is happy in the sun! of course I liked the other ones as well , so I guess I’m biased when it comes to your photos ! lol ! Fae looks like she is plotting something.. my favourite is the last one “reflections” hopefully Rhumba finds her forever soon, although I think she’s very lucky to be making a “pit stop” with you

I love the photos. Thanks for making me smile.

You don’t ever need a profound reason to share your wonderful photography with me. This new camera is terrific. Now that you told me there was more depth and detail to see, I looked again and was able to really SEE it! The hairs on Woo’s chin are …THERE! Whoa…and I would never have seen the loose piece of grass dangling from his tongue.
So having arrived here as a photography Philistine — Duuuhhhh I like da dawggies — I am grateful to you for expanding and deepening my appreciation of your artwork. The definition is impressive, and I love the warm light and the softness with which you capture it.
MOAR DAWGGIE PIX, PLS! =:-)

New Camera and photos Nessie’s weirdo-older-twin-kindered-spirit, Dexter, running sideways with his mouth wide open?!?!? Awesome! I’ll take more just like it. It looks like the sun’s working out for the gang. Maybe it took a certain missing IG, but now all the dogs have toys in their mouths again. Pack dynamics at work!

Lovely photos. I am glad to “see” the new, relaxed pack! Happy Spring( (in all senses)
