A Holiday Carolling Mash Up

December 24, 2016 By The Food Lady 15 Comments

On the first day of Christmas, The Food Lady gave to me ….

an apple.

And it’s great.  No really.

Dashing thru the snow, on three legs Winter goes …

Until he saw Woo’s apple and said “whoa, whoa, whoa.”

(If I could explain the superstition / ritual behind “Winter can only eat an apple whilst standing on three legs” I would.  But I can’t.)

Fae bells ring, are you listening …

Battle-collies are positioning …

It’s a beautiful night

For a borderjack fight ….

Eating apples in a Winter Wonderland

Do you Ear what I Ear?

Hark the penguins ball food umbrella snot cookie

(C’mon, Piper’s getting a bit old to remember lyrics)

T’was the night before Christmas

And the doggies were hopin’

That cuz I made them wear hats and posted it on the internet,

Tonight I’m sleeping with one eye open.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE :)

Merry Christmas to you and the gang! I hope the new year brings you a new home and the success you deserve. You are a hero to all of us who love dogs and an inspiration in the way you have handled change in the past. I remember your initial response to “the sticks” and then you turned into a real country woman – I mean that in the best possible way. May that ability to change and to grow find a path for you in 2017. We will all be rooting for you.

    Love, Faith

Merry Christmas to you and your wonderful dogs. Hoping that the new year brings lots of good, promising stuff for you and your furrrrriends, like good work, and a good place to live. Your photograph is amazing – as is the feat of getting all these dogs to 1) hold still, while 2) wearing silly things on their heads, and 3) resisting the urge to go plow around in the bushes looking for a rabbit, or something else furry. They are amazingly well-trained. I love Wootie’s expression – he looks like he is the king of everything and he knows it:-)

Thank you so much for sharing your gorgeous photography:-)

Bwahaha Twooie! I think you’d better not sleep at all.

Your dog whispering powers are awe-inspiring. It was all I could do to get hats to sort-of stay on two dogs just long enough to grab a mediocre photo I bow to your superior skillz.

Hope Santa treats you well, after all you’ve done for him over the years :)

Merry (late) Christmas! Amazing how you get them all to sit still (with hats!) long enough to get a photo. Happy new year to you and the Woo Crew.
